Stay Hungry Stay Foolish
I finished the book "Stay Hungry Stay Foolish" by author Rashmi Bansal. This coincided with the visit of Rashmi bansal's visit to NITIE. The book focuses on the life of 25 entrepreneurs from IIM A. The profile varies from dot com business to social entrepreneurship. The books inspires entrepreneurship and provides value inputs and cautions regarding entrepreneurship. Certain tips for entrepreneurs that I got from the book are:
1. Be risk taking.
2. Join the small firm with the large responsibility rather than joining large firm with limited scope for your creativity.
3. Try not to start in the immature way (just after passing out), work for some firm , get experience of 3-4 years, financial acumen and financial stability.
4. Choose right partner, it's a rule that out of 3-4 partners starting , one or two will left.
5. Don't start with many partners.
6. Never include any one in your business for money only, add only when they provide value addition.
7. Hiccups are the part of venture, if everything is going smooth then something is definitely wrong .
8. Hold for at least 3 year, in a venture 4rth year is the actual riding year for enterprise.
9. One should have vision to scale up the company.
10. Be cheerful with the co-workers and provide E-sops to employees.
11. Most importantly, believe in yourself.
